Awhile ago Alex asked Ben if we'd take him spotting. Forgetting that we had promised him we would quite some time ago, we finally got around to doing so.
In the process Kelli said, "Wanna take Owen too?" I'm like, "Umm okay." Realizing I guess he wouldn't be too much a bother. I'm so used to him being little, I forget he's growing up.
So all week I was soo excited to get them. In fact I'm not sure who was more excited Alex or me? I haven't seen them forever!! I even brought a pizza home for dinner and all. So after a pizza party and hours of playing the wii, we decided to head out.
Alex LOVED it! He felt like such a big boy holding the light himself and sitting up front.
All bundled up to prevent colds!

Alex learned how to "call in the deer"We saw a buck and Ben made the noise "Mer" and the buck instantly looked up.
Alex was so amazed, he tried. Again, the buck looked up!
Needless to say every deer we saw the rest of the night Alex "called" in.
It didn't take long for Owen to fall asleep. 
Alex wasn't far behind.
By the time we got home, the boys were both zonked out!

ReplyDeleteI remember when Uncle Leroy took us spotting when we were kids. Always a great time. Looks like kids still enjoy little things like that. Looks like Alex is a expert at calling the deer.
